It was still a prototype and did not yet have a name. During the test phase we usually do not worry too much about names, we only care about sound and music. One of our Test-customers received the last final prototype before series.
His wife liked it at once. They played Music the whole evening wondering which could be the name. At 4 o’clock in the morning the wife woke up and the name was chosen: ‘Gran Gioia’
The Gran Gioia combines a medium high 1,4” compression driver in Titanium with a 16” bass woofer with front loaded horn in a floor directed vented cabinet.
Speed and live feeling are the main arguments for this speaker which is able to transmit the full joy and emotion of music.
The Gran Gioia is available in 2 configurations: standard magnets and field coil magnets on both, tweeter and woofer. In the field coil version the compression driver bears a huge 75 mm beryllium membrane.
For the first time a beryllium membrane in a field coil compression driver, the strongest compression driver ever (up to more than 2,5 Tesla). Apparently the first series field coil compression driver ever (for acoustics and sound reasons mixed combinations of the drivers are not available)Es war nur ein Prototyp, namenloser Prototyp. Es gibt einige Testkunden, die uns seit Jahren begleiten. Einer hat das letzte Vorserienmodel bekommen. Seine Frau hat es ausnahmsweise sofort gemocht, erstaunlich. Den ganzen Abend haben sie Musik gehört und dann um 4 Uhr morgen ist sie aufgewacht mit dem Namen im Kopf: Gran Gioia.
Die Gran Gioia hat einen Hochtonhorn, das auf einem 1,4” Kompressionstreiber mit Titanmembrane basiert. Der Woofer ist ein 16” frontaler Horn in einem Bass Reflex Gehäuse. Es gibt 2 Versionen von der Gran Gioia, normal und mit Feldspulen Lautsprecher: zurück zu den Ursprünge von der Musikwiedergabe.
Die Gran Gioia mit Feldspule bergt eine riesige 75mm Beryllium Membrane vor ihrem 2,5 Tesla starker Antrieb. Die erste Beryllium Membrane in der Größe.
Geschwindigkeit und Live-haftigkeitsgefühl sind die Hauptargumente für diesen Lautsprecher der die Freude am Musik übertragen kann.
Was bringen die Feldspulen? Mehr Geschwindigkeit, mehr Kontrolle, mehr Präzision. Was bringt das Beryllium? Mehr Filigran, mehr Transparenz, mehr Luft.

La Gran Gioia ha una tromba nei medioalti che si basa su un driver a compressione con membrana in titanio. Il woofer è un 16" caricato a tromba anteriore in un cabinet bass reflex. Ci sono 2 versioni della Gran Gioia, una normale ed una con elettromagneti: un ritorno all'origine.
La Gran Gioia con elettromagnete ha una membrana in berillio di 75mm che viene mossa da un potentissimo magnete da 2,5 Tesla. La prima membrana in berillio sul mercato di questa dimensione.
Velocità, sensazione di musica dal vivo sono gli argomenti con cui questa cassa convince e che servono a dare la gioia della musica. Ma cosa portano gli elettromagneti? Più velocità, più controllo, più precisione. Cosa porta il berillio? Più dettaglio, più raffinatezza, più corposa briosità.

The Gran Gioia is a special product and will be build only after confirmed order reflecting the special wishes of the customer.
Delivery time between 8 and 12 weeks, depending on the finishing.
